Hi, I'm Podbutt. Yes, really. You talk. I handle the rest.
Ty Shane, host of Unbroken Marketers, grins center stage in an open black overshirt and gold chain and fist-bumps Podbutt, a laughing white robot in ON AIR headphones and a black hoodie with a gold U, holding a microphone and a guest list. Five smaller helper bots fan out behind them with binoculars, a calendar, a clapperboard, scissors and a phone.

From our own podcast, Unbroken Marketers, September and October 2026.

You want a podcast. You don't want a second job.

You know a show would help you. Better relationships, better content, more people who know your name. Then you look at what it takes:

  • Hunting for guests who are actually worth an hour of your time
  • Writing cold emails, then chasing the ones who never answer
  • The "does Tuesday work?" back and forth
  • Turning a raw recording into something you're not embarrassed to post
  • Titles, descriptions, thumbnails
  • Uploading, scheduling, and cutting clips nobody ever gets around to
  • Remembering to send your guest anything at all afterwards

That's a part-time job. You already have a full-time one.

"Most podcasts don't die from bad guests. They die from homework."

All you do is show up and talk.

Your crew does the work before and after the call. You get the fun part, which is the conversation.

Your side

  • Join the recording on Riverside, from anywhere
  • Read a short guest brief before you hit record
  • Say yes or no to the things that go public (thumbnail, go-live)
Podbutt rolls out a red carpet toward an empty black leather podcast armchair with a microphone and a coffee mug.

Your crew's side

  • Finds guests who fit your bar and checks the proof
  • Writes every invite with a researched personal line
  • Answers replies and sends your booking link to anyone who says yes
  • Watches for your new recordings twice every weekday
  • Packages the episode for YouTube, writes the title and description, and builds thumbnail options
  • Pulls the best short clips and hands them to your guest
  • Emails your guest as you, with a thank you and their clips

Your crew, on it

  • Podbutt
  • Scout
  • Booker
  • Producer
  • Editor
  • Clips

You don't open a spreadsheet, a cold email tool, or an editor. Ever, if you don't want to.

Meet your crew. They work for you now.

Your Main Agent

Podbutt

The cheeky one in charge. Runs the crew, checks the work, and tells you what shipped and what still needs your yes.

"Legends must be heard. I make sure they're booked first."

  • Scout, a small white bot with a gold bandana, peering through a gold magnifier.

    Scout

    Your guest finder

Digs through past guests of established shows and keeps only the ones with real proof behind them.

  • Booker, a small white bot with a gold bow tie, holding a flip calendar with a check mark.

    Booker

    Your inbox and calendar

Writes your invites, handles every reply, and puts the yeses on your calendar.

  • Producer, a small white bot in a headset, holding a clapperboard.

    Producer

    Your show runner

Spots new recordings, preps you a guest brief, and gets each episode scheduled on YouTube.

  • Editor, a small white bot with gold scissors and a timeline strip.

    Editor

    Your packaging pro

Adds your intro, preps a clean 1080p upload file, writes a title from what your guest really said, and builds the thumbnails.

  • Clips, a small white bot holding up a gold vertical phone with a play button.

    Clips

    Your short-form crew

Pulls the strongest short clips, ranks them by score, and drops them in a folder your guest can grab.

How an episode gets made

  1. Scout finds your guests.

Your crew starts from people who already guest on established shows, then checks each one for proof like revenue, an exit or funding. Wrong fits get cut. On our show, coaching and fitness models were left out on purpose.

  2. Booker writes the invites.

Each guest gets a 4-email sequence with 4 versions of every email, plus a personal line written from research about them. No links in the cold emails.

  3. Booker handles the replies.

When someone answers, your crew checks they're a fit, replies as you, and sends your booking link only after they say yes.

  4. It lands on your calendar.

Your guest picks a time. You get a short brief: who they are, why they qualified, story angles and three questions to ask.

  5. Your step

    You record on Riverside.

    Online, from wherever you are.

  6. Producer spots the recording.

Your crew checks Riverside twice every weekday for new recordings, then gets to work.

  7. Editor packages the episode.

Your intro goes first. The file is prepped as clean 1080p for YouTube.

  8. Titles and thumbnails.

The title comes from what your guest actually said, with their name up front. Thumbnails use your guest's real face and a "WHY [this] IS [that]" line pulled from the transcript, the surprising thing your guest explains in the episode. You pick the winner.

  9. YouTube upload, on your schedule.

The episode goes up as a scheduled draft for your slot. Nothing goes public without your OK.

  10. Clips go to your guest.

Riverside clips are ranked by score and saved to a shared folder for your guest.

  11. Your guest hears from you.

A warm thank you email with their clips, the air date, and a YouTube collab invite when they have a channel. The live link follows when the episode is up.

  12. "Step 5 is yours. I've got the other ten."

Proven on our own show

We didn't build this for you first. We built it for us.

Unbroken Marketers is Ty Shane's show about founders who got knocked down and built again. We handed guest booking and production to Podbutt's crew. Here's what it did:

  • 762 to 215

Your Scout's first job for our show: screen 762 past guests of established podcasts and keep 215 for the first invite list.

  • More every week

A second batch of 201 founders followed, then 75 more on Oct 8. Every one needed proof of at least $1M in revenue, an exit or funding.

  • 5 in ~28h

5 guests booked in about 28 hours. Between Oct 6 and Oct 7, after the crew sent fresh invites and answered replies.

  • 6 on the calendar

Founders and business owners from agencies, finance, SEO and video, recording through early November.

  • 10 yeses

Guests who said yes or booked through the crew since September.

  • Same evening

Steven Sashen of Xero Shoes said yes, and his slot was confirmed the same evening.

  • Finished episodes

Talia Wolf's and Steven Sashen's episodes went from Riverside to YouTube with the intro added, 3 thumbnail options each, and 9 and 10 clips in their guest folders.

"Our channel is small. They still said yes. A good invite is about them, not your follower count."

Watch the episodes on YouTube

A podcast is the warmest door opener there is.

  • Relationships and rapport.

"Can I get 15 minutes to pitch you?" gets ignored. "I'd love to hear your story on my show" gets a yes. Your guest spends an hour being listened to, and you spend an hour getting to know them. That's a relationship, not a cold lead.

  • Access to people you want to know.

Your invite is about them, their story, their wins and the hard parts nobody asks about. That's why busy founders answer it. On our own show, founders replied within hours.

  • Industry secrets, on the record.

A "can I pick your brain" DM is easy to ignore. A guest invite is different. People who'd never answer a cold question will happily explain how they did it for an hour on mic. You get the answers. Your audience gets them too.

  • Authority and content, without the work.

Every conversation turns into a YouTube episode, thumbnails and a folder of short clips. You get seen next to people your market respects, and you didn't edit a thing.

Don't take our word for it. Watch the show.

Every episode of Unbroken Marketers lives on YouTube. See the guests, the thumbnails and the clips your crew would make for you.

Questions people ask Podbutt

What do I actually have to do?

Show up to the recording and talk. Read the short guest brief first if you like. You also give the final OK on anything public, like the thumbnail and the go-live date.

Will anything go live without me?

No. Episodes go to YouTube as scheduled drafts, and thumbnail picks wait for you. Your crew never publishes on its own.

Who are the guests?

People who fit your bar. On our show, the Scout looked for founders with proof like revenue, an exit or funding, and left out coaching and fitness models. Your crew researches every guest and tells you plainly where the proof is strong and where it's only self-reported.

Is anything still manual?

A little, and we'd rather tell you now. You pick thumbnails and approve go-live. Very large episode files may need to start uploading from your own computer instead of the crew's. Everything else, from guest hunting to the guest thank-you email, is your crew's job.

Your next guest is one invite away.

You bring the conversation. Podbutt and the crew bring the guests, the episode, the thumbnails and the clips. Legends must be heard. Let's get yours booked.

On our own show: 5 guests booked in about 28 hours.
